About Cypress Chateau

Everything at Cypress Chateau has been carefully planned with the pleasure of you and your guests in mind, making your experience with us unforgettable!

That experience begins even before your wedding day. Prior to the ceremony, you will meet with our professional wedding coordinator. She will help plan a timeline that is comfortable for you. This timeline will keep everything flowing smoothly during your reception. With no worries, you can be a guest at your own wedding! To prepare for your wedding ceremony at Cypress Chateau, your coordinator will conduct a rehearsal and will instruct all in the wedding party.

On your wedding day, will you enter Cypress Chateau through eight foot leaded glass doors, designed to create the perfect frame for the Bride and Groom's grand entrance! These doors open to a beautiful custom designed tile floor, crystal chandeliers and wall sconces. There are sign-in and gift tables made readily available to your guests.

You proceed into the Grand Ballroom, where a soft romantic glow is cast over this lovely and spacious room. The overhead crystal chandeliers were custom made and imported to us from Czechoslovakia. The Grand Ballroom seats up to 250 guests comfortably, with a large dance floor in the middle.

The Ballroom is complimented with stately columns and beautiful archways draped in soft white fabrics and twinkling lights. Cake and punch tables are provided and decorated with crystal candelabras, silver cake stands and a giant silver punch bowl. At your request, silver cake utensils and crystal toasting glasses are provided.

Near the cake display, your guests will find an attended bar for refreshments. If you wish to provide beer or wine for your guests, our friendly bartenders will serve them up with a smile! Security is provided for any weddings serving alcohol. At Cypress Chateau, all these amenities are free!

The Head Table seats up to fourteen for the bridal party, and is set with fine white linens and crystal candelabras. As a special bonus for you and your wedding party, each place setting is composed of fine china on silver plate chargers, crystal stemware, linens in silver napkin rings, and lovely silver service. The Bride and Groom will have their own personal server to be sure that all their needs are met satisfactorily.

Your guests will be seated at round tables covered in crisp white linens. Crystal centerpieces sit surrounded by customized floral arrangements. The place settings are donned with fine linen napkins and silverware, and food is served on beautiful glass plates. Prior to guests' arrival, your chosen wedding favors will be perfectly set at each table.

Through archways, your guests will enter the Buffet Room. There they will find your fine gourmet foods artfully arranged. Our courteous and friendly wait staff will be available to serve your happy guests in an organized manner. The skillfully designed Buffet Room is tailor made to keep backstage preparations silenced. Our handpicked caterer will provide all of your custom foods. Cake Affairs, one of Houston's premier bakers, gladly provides our families with several Bride and Groom's decorated cakes in many tasty flavors, and of course, you will be invited to sample their works of editable art.

While food and beverages are important, what is a reception without good music? You will choose your own music, and our professional DJ will play only your selections. You will be happy to hear that Rodney Lake is experienced in the music industry, as he has toured and entertained thousands through his very own band. He might just sing for you! All of this awaits you inside, but there is even more outside in our beautiful gardens! Through double glass doors, under a happy arbor, and down a winding path, you will find that a lovely Victorian gazebo waits with your Groom as you start down the isle.
